Attunga Capital Pty Ltd (Attunga) is a specialist investment manager with expertise in securities and derivative products. Attunga was formed on 23 December 2005 and was granted its Australian Financial Services Licence on 29 May 2006.
On 6 November 2008 Henderson Group plc (Henderson Group) acquired a minority equity stake in Attunga. This equity stake forms the basis of a broader strategic relationship between the two companies, including a marketing and distribution agreement.
The focus of the company and the people behind it is to create long term wealth for investors, by seeking out niche asset classes and applying unique skills to deliver superior performance.
Our funds are designed to capitalise on the attractive short term and long term investment opportunities in various niche asset classes. Asset classes currently focused on include power and environmental derivatives; soft commodity and agricultural derivatives and securities; and equities. Other asset classes we continue to explore are emissions, renewable energy and water.
Attunga is Trustee and Manager of a number of Australian domiciled onshore funds and also Investment Manager for a number of offshore domiciled funds, with these funds including:
The Attunga Enviro Opportunities Fund and Attunga Power & Enviro (Offshore) Fund primarily invest in the power market and related derivative products, mainly focusing on the Australian National Electricity Market (ETC and OTC), but with a mandate which includes CO2 emissions, weather, gas, water and other energy and environmental related markets.
The Attunga Agricultural Trading Fund primarily invests in global exchange traded soft commodity and agricultural derivatives and securities, with a focus on relative value and other trading strategies.

Previously with Rand Merchant Bank and Australian Gilt Securities. Most recently consulting in
training treasury and trading teams in Australia and Asia, and proprietary trading with own fund. Primary experience in

Previously with Oasis Asset Management and P&O Nedlloyd. Most recently with State One Stockbroking. Primary

Glenn Roberts: Operations Manager
Previously with Westpac Banking Group managing back office and operational system teams, with responsibilities including risk management, compliance, staff and unit management and improving processes and relationships.
Paul McCarthy: Non Executive Chairman

Paul McCarthy is currently a Director of Southern Cross Equities, one of Australia's largest independent stock
broking firms, working in its equity capital markets and corporate finance areas. He has extensive financial services
experience across funds management, corporate investment and stock broking spanning 25 years, specialising in emerging
industrial companies.

Tim Flannery is one of Australia's leading thinkers and writers. An internationally acclaimed scientist, explorer
and conservationist, he has published more than 130 peer-reviewed scientific papers. His books include the landmark
